QUESTION OF ART … Because I have tried to enter in the art space, because it s my first exhibition, I feel like to exchange my humble point of vue after a few reflections. First, why the title De la Perception? Because it is the beginning of the real clear vision, so before we struggle to define what it is, I m into that first perception of myself in a foreigner country. So ART, IS IT A FREE WAY TO ESCAPE TO THE EMPTY REALITY? Or ART IS A FREE WAY TO GET THAT RESPONSIBILITY OF LIBERTY? Everyday is an adaptation of our misunderstanding; so the human beings are suffering but their acceptance of a better land after the death gives sense. This abstract representation doesn’t solve the white pages of joy. The sense of the political event Apartheid, has the sense of no-sense, but for me, to try to make sense on, is to make two horrors; 1 is to insult the memory of the victims               2 is to forgive the tormentors With that example, to work on the no-sense of the suffering is to make progress? 1 Hell is not the antechamber of Paradise 2 History is the story of Him with a strong friend the power, The relative friends the media… AT THE SAME TIME, people are living the up and down… To take a distant mind, art was there to interact with that reality differently, meeting the in and out, you and me plus me and me. Which angle to handle face to me or you? Up to you and me…My professor in philosophy was saying: “a good orator does not prepare his speech he just interacts with the rest at that moment”, it s just to say to be aware of you into the present, and there you make sense in and out. ART involves our present move into the fluent flow of Reality. In my present, as a stranger in a strange city, I feel like an egoist translator willing to escape the formal frenzy and to the myopic conventional aesthetic. Then, I watch the drama city where I learned that the human beings could not be resumed at the History. Could we, eternally, refuse the injustice without ceasing to great the nature of the mankind and the Beauty of the world? My answer is YES. But a few persons decide to take that rebellious and faithful position perception, the artists. Art celebrates Beauty, our single virtue which founds our dignity and at the same time we make our mind crazy to insult her. So don t be surprised to see artists enjoying that paradoxical position but it s disquieting because ambiguity opens up for irresponsibility. It seems to reveal a lacking of the common humanity we all share. To conclude, art and artists need no justification, for art and artists have intrinsic value and are free from causality: the artists create for their own sake but on the other side, art spills over into political and ethic life; so, art is cultural because IT REFLECTS WHO WE ARE, what a pity… PERCEPTION IS THE LOOK IN OUT… Fanuel and Nathalie Fish
